Our organization is looking to recognize motivated physician assistant students enrolled in either an accredited PA Program or post-graduate program that have an interest in a career in ENT. The number of scholarships and their monetary reward will depend on available funds and will vary from year to year.
Since 2005 we have awarded five scholarships to deserving PA students; three of which have gone on to work in ENT. We hope to help more PA students and are asking for your help with monetary donations.

SPAO-HNS is recognized as a non-profit organization with the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) since 1992. As a non-profit organization it is currently exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. Because we are not an organization described in section 170 (c) of the Code, donors may NOT deduct contributions as charitable contributions. However, contributions to a 501(c)(6) may be deducted as a business expense if they are "ordinary and necessary" in the conduct of the taxpayer's business.(www.irs.gov/publications/p535/index.html)
SPAO-HNS advises donors to seek professional advice or to consult the IRS when in doubt about the deductibility of contributions.
